Biography
Childhood Memories :
I am Uday Pratap Singh, hailing from a Hindu family in Bihar. My childhood was marked by obedience to idol worship, a practice instilled by my parents. Academically, I was an average student, struggling particularly with mathematics. Despite my weakness in the subject, I managed to pass the 10th grade, albeit without excelling in math alone. When I was a teenager, my life got pretty messed up. I started doing bad stuff because a friend influenced me. 1Cor 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Poverty at home :
My father’s ongoing disputes with a villager forced him to spend considerable time away, leaving a significant absence during my childhood. In this vacuum, I inadvertently became a mentor for misdeeds. Despite the initial pampering I received, circumstances changed when eight siblings joined our family, leading to times of scarcity and hunger. I experienced the shift from affluence to poverty.
Father’s Decision :
When my sister was to be married, financial constraints made it challenging to arrange for her dowry. To resolve this, my father arranged my marriage on the same date, acquiring the necessary dowry from my in-laws. At 19, my wife fell ill, creating further disruption. Due to financial difficulties, I went to learn mechanical work in garage and I had to leave as I was not compensated.
Capital of India travel :
I left study after 12th due to financial constraint. My parents fed-up with me and kicked out Venturing to Delhi with a friend, I engaged in work for a month but eventually left for Mumbai, staying with relatives. Unfortunately, my certificates were stolen during my stay and got no future there. again came back to home shamelessly and engaged in farming but poverty persisted. Collaborating with one of my uncles, I attempted selling footwear on the streets, but profits were scarce. Moving to Madhya Pradesh to vend multiple items, resulting in no gain. Eventually, in December 1998, I arrived in Chennai, prompted by the prospects of a job in security, as suggested by a cousin who was also living there.
Life blessed at Chennai :
In Chennai, I began my carrier in Security job but faced criticism from peers due to my zeal for learning English.
The ridicule intensified, and questions arose about my future due to my lack of higher education. Notably, it was during this time that a Brahmin family visited my home, sharing the gospel (Good News) Driven by selfish desires, I initially attended church but three months later stop going as I thought what my parents friends, relatives think about me and where my son will get married. Social pressure intensified me that I stopped going church and informed the brahmin uncle for this reason. However, soon after a vivid dream that “the whole world is burning in unquenchable fire and I am spared due to trust in Jesus Christ” altered my perspective, prompting a return to seeking the truth and meaning of the dream. This led me to the NLAG English-church, where I really enjoyed the message in English.
A few months later, I felt convicted of my sins as in Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and sought forgiveness according to the 1 John 1:9 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. As the word of the Lord commanded to say as in Romans 10:9-13 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” I was unaware that my enitre righeouessness requirement is completed by Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross.
Then what I become brand new person as bible says in 2Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
Subsequently, I experienced a transformation in my life
Before this new trasitions:
I was not knowing that I am lost person and sinner ISAIAH 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,each of us has turned to our own way;and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Without knowing I was thinking that He is Christian God.
I was knowing that He was Crucified but not knowing that he raised from the dead three days later and He is the Living God.
When I read the Bible I learned that John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father (Heaven) except through me.
John 1:11-13 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Mark 2:10 But I want you to know that the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) has authority on earth to forgive sins.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Graduation Path :
I pursued further education, gaining a BBA in 2010, while also working at Wipro Technologies. Financial hardships persisted, God’s interventions in my life were evident as got LIC agency then AMFI Certification and enrolled for graduation. In 2009 Oct left my security carrier started full time for mutual fund business. one of my client checked my IQ in Math and gave the remarks I am weak in Math and he left immediately. I talked to Jesus Christ and told my problem that I am weak and you have given me this mathematics job. How can I pursue further in this. Jesus Christ spoke to me as in 2 Cor 12:9 and admired of my weakness. To my amazement God gave me the world class certification I mean I completed CFP from FPSB.
Presently, I serve over 400 families globally, providing financial services. God’s pure grace has led me on a purposeful journey, as I continue to navigate life’s challenges, supported by a community of believers in Katni at Madhya Pradesh.
